Welcome to the Sarcophagus Smashers

Hello, I am an officer of the Sarcophagus Smashers guild , and I see that most of the members are on Korthos Island, and I stress that you complete slayer, explorer, and rare encounters for the island. This can be a pain, and repetitive, but is much easier with a party. Also, if you have a free account I suggest that you attempt to do the Korthos quests on hard and elite for favor, and experience. Not only will this put you ahead of other players who did not do this, but it will earn you more favor points. Every 100 favor points you get, that's 25 free points to spend in the DDO store. Also, when one reaches 400 favor, they unlock the Drow Elf race for free. These characters not only look cool, but they are 28 point build characters, and make every new character built on that server 28 point builds. This will show up on your biography when other players want to see it. A 24 point build character is considered an adventurer, while a 28 point build character is a champion. Also, if you can try to get others to join the guild, and always take guild renown for a reward, at guild level 20, we get our own airship! Thank you for reading this blog, contact me through the game or by simply commenting on this post. Good luck, and happy questing.

Kicking back in Korthos - Some basic FYI's

You've made it through the introduction and are now in Korthos. It is a new world with new possibilities. When you enter into any new town or venue, it is well worth the few seconds of your time to find the local spirit binder. Look for them in the local tavern. If you fall to the hands of the enemy in battle and release, wherever you last binded your spirit is where you'll end up.
Weapons take damage and if you die your weapons often suffer with you. To keep them in tip top shape both the barkeep in the tavern and the general vendor can repair them for a fee.
Having trouble getting through a mission? Hirelings are available through vendors in town or through the DDO store. For a fee, players can rent hirelings for one hour. After you purchase them, they will be in your inventory. Hirelings purchased from a vendor need to be summoned at the beginning of the dungeon. Those purchased from the DDO Store offer a little more flexibility and can be summoned pretty much anywhere you are running through.
Free walk thrus can be found on line. DDOwiki.com has everything you need to guide you through dungeons and the like.

Welcome Sarcophagus Smashers!

Hi, I am Sanative Servant and the leader of our guild, Sarcophagus Smashers. This initial post is to get the blog established so that we can have a place to ask questions, discuss quests and share gaming tips. The posts will be published by the officers and myself several times a week, so check back every now and again or subscribe to the blog to be kept up to date with what is going on both in the guild and any DDO news we have to share.
For now, let's keep on questing to increase the favor of the guild, so we can earn guild rewards. Thanks for stopping by and please check back often!
